Job Details

Job Description: The Accountant will be responsible for maintaining accurate books of accounts, handling payments and receipts, reconciling statements, and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in the apparel or textile industry and be familiar with factory accounting, costing, and export documentation. Handle day-to-day accounting entries (sales, purchase, expenses, and journal vouchers). Manage accounts payable and receivable efficiently. Prepare and maintain bank reconciliation statements. Oversee cash flow management, petty cash, and vendor payments. Prepare GST, TDS, and other statutory returns as per government timelines. Maintain inventory and costing records related to fabric, trims, and finished garments. Coordinate with merchandising and production departments for job costing and order profitability. Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing. Support internal and external audits, providing required documentation. Prepare MIS reports and financial summaries for management review.
