Job Description: Key Responsibilities:- 1 Sourcing & Development. • Ensure timely shipment and delivery of fabric by the suppliers. Follow- up in all aspects from the process of placing order with supplier till the delivery of fabric to warehouse. 2 Quality Controlling • Ensure the quality of the fabric is as per the required quality standards and buyer specifications. Control the quality process for incoming fabrics by conducting quality checks & inspection of fabric. 3. Problem Solving • Communicate with suppliers to confirm orders, track the progress and resolve any issues with respect to the process of the delivery of fabric. 4. Inventory management • Monitor fabric inventory, manage stock level and oversee the issuance and receiving the fabrics for production. 5. Team Coordination • Coordinate with production team, merchandising, and design team to update them on fabric availability and changes. 6 Compliance & Documentation • Ensure all the documentation is properly maintained & complied such as purchase orders, test reports, invoices, and shipments records. 7 Record Keeping • Record all the activities on daily basis in detail including detailed record of fabric metrics, quality performance and inventory etc 8. Other Tasks • Perform other duties assigned by MD/CEO or other Senior Management.
