Job Description: Plan product ranges: Work with buyers to plan product ranges and prepare sales and stock plans Manage inventory: Control stock levels, monitor warehouse inventory, and submit reports Analyze sales data: Analyze sales data, customer feedback, and market trends to predict sales and profits Negotiate prices: Work with suppliers and distributors to negotiate prices and order large volumes Create marketing strategies: Collaborate with marketers and salespeople to create promotions and advertising campaigns Display products: Work with visual display staff to decide how goods should be displayed to maximize sales Monitor competitors: Review competitors, including pricing, profit, marketing, and other progress Communicate with customers: Communicate customer problems to the company and address customer issues
